Another tank at the Canadian War Museum, in Ottowa. This is an American designed M3 tank. I´m a casual armour fancier, so correct me if I´m wrong, but I believe this was the direct predecessor to the famous WW2 M4 Sherman tank. The M3 apparently also saw active service during the second World War, in North Africa and the Pacific.
Like the Panther, this impressive retired beast was lined up with it´s tail to very large windows. This is my excuse for this not exactly being a brilliant shot. |
